Luke McKay Turner is a dedicated third-year law student at California Western School of Law, set to graduate in May 2025. A first-generation law student with a strong commitment to academic and professional growth, Luke received his M.A. and B.A. degrees in Political Science from Florida Atlantic University.

Luke is deeply involved in leadership, having served as the President of both the Student Intellectual Property Law Society and the Business Law Society at Cal Western. He actively participated as a member of California Western’s Trial Team and currently serves as the C.F.O. of the Moot Court Honors Board. These roles highlight Luke’s passion for advocacy, collaboration, and making a positive impact on their peers and the legal community.

In addition to his time at law school, Luke has gained practical legal experience by serving as a law clerk at a personal injury law firm and externing with a U.S. Federal Magistrate Judge. His career interests lie in business litigation, entertainment, and intellectual property law.

When not focused on law, Luke enjoys living in San Diego, exploring his love for lively social outings, going to the beach, trying new foods, and sharing life with his partner. Luke is also known for their quick wit, thoughtful insights, and dedication to building meaningful connections in both personal and professional settings.
